What Mini Accounts costs

Every client, every workbook, no per-user charge — and payroll and CIS on the plan with them. The first month is free, and it includes everything.

There is no add-on and no client limit: the figure above covers every client and every workbook, with no per-user charge. Payroll and CIS — PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, statutory pay, timesheets, payslips, the P32, P60 and P45, and a contractor’s CIS300 figures and statements — are on the second plan, at twice the price and still for the whole practice — every client whose books you hold, including a client’s own books shared with you, because the plan that answers is yours. Projects are on the second plan too: they are kept in a business’s books, including a client’s books shared with you, and a practice’s own client books do not have them. The construction reverse charge — worked on a subcontractor’s bill, and on a reverse-charge invoice to a contractor — is VAT law rather than an extra, and is on both plans. The price shown is the whole price: no UK VAT is added to it. Mini Accounts is supplied from India; a VAT-registered practice accounts for the VAT on it under the reverse charge in its own return.

The first month

The first month is free, and no card is taken. It is the whole product — every client, the payroll and CIS, and invoicing, projects and cloud storage for a business — on real work, whichever plan you go on to.

When the free month ends, nothing is charged. Nothing renews by itself and nothing is taken from your bank. Your account stops opening the books until you choose a plan and pay for it, and the books are kept: a practice’s stay in its folder on its own computer, and a business’s stored books stay in its account. Pay, and they open exactly as you left them.

Paying

Sign in, choose a plan, and email support@miniaccounts.uk from the address your account is registered with. We send you the bank details for a transfer, or arrange another way to pay, and switch the plan on by hand, usually the same working day, with an invoice if you ask for one. No card details are taken on this website, and nothing is sold inside the installed app. Say which of the two plans you want; moving from one to the other later is the same email.

The price shown is the whole price: no UK VAT is added to it. Mini Accounts is supplied from India by a business that is not registered for UK VAT; a VAT-registered practice or business accounts for the VAT on it under the reverse charge in its own return. Give us your VAT number and it goes on the invoice.

Changed your mind?

Ask within 14 days of a payment and we refund that payment in full. After 14 days a payment is not refunded. A plan does not renew by itself, so there is nothing to cancel: it runs to the end of what you paid for and then stops.

Mini Accounts · accounts, tax and payroll software for accountancy practices and small businesses in the United Kingdom.
We hold your business or practice name, email, mobile and subscription status. A practice’s client books are not uploaded. A business that turns on cloud storage keeps its books with us as ciphertext, encrypted on its own device before they leave, which we cannot read.
Mini Accounts prepares figures for you to check and file, and is not connected with HMRC or Companies House (Disclaimer). It is supplied from India, and no UK VAT is added to its prices; a VAT-registered practice or business accounts for the VAT on it under the reverse charge in its own return.
